Wonderful 2016| Birth Photography| Ending out the year| Bring on 2017| Love at First Sight Photography & Doula Services

2016 started off in pure bliss with the birth of our daughter in early January and 2016 ended with a bang having one of my empowering images featured in the Huffington Post and Birth Becomes Her for best birth photos of 2016.
I attend 8 births total ranging from birth documenting, doula services and sibling doula for 2016 and cannot wait to see where the birth world will take me this year.

Thank you to all of my past 2016 clients for inviting me into your birth space to offer support, portraits and trust with your children. You all are beautiful, empowering, full of life, amazing mothers and I am so blessed to be able to witness that.

Here is a quick glimpse into this past year

(
I will be gifting every birth documenting client that books by February 1st a complementary pick of maternity, lifestyle, 3 month, 6 month or smash cake session ($175 value))

Sibling doula| REX hospital fresh 48| Love at First Sight Photography & Doula Services| Beautiful family of 4

I got to spend 6 hours with this guy, playing, coloring, painting, making awesome play-dough food, sticker fun, rolling a ball, snacking, talking about mom, dad and new baby brother, lots of reassurance and talking a ton about how being an older brother was an amazing gift all in the waiting room of REX hospital!

These are just a few of the things that I offer in my sibling doula services.

Thank you B family and congratulations on your new family of 4!!

Tough momma| sibling doula| Chapel Hill Birth| Womens Birth and Wellness Center| Doula support| Beautiful girl| Love at First Sight Photography & Doula Services| Sacredsong Birth & Wellness

I had the amazing opportunity to sibling doula a rambunctious, full of life little guy during the birth of his new sister. We camped out at the womens birth and wellness center and had the best of time! We built puzzles, made 'birth'day cards, ate a cake in celebration, played ball in the hall way, come in and checked on mom and sister multiple times during the labor, played outside, talked lots about sister and how she may look and the list just goes on and on. We truly had a blast and helped fill the gap of unawareness of birth, his mom and sister. Little guy just could not stay awake the last hour and missed the birth and first few hours of her life, but I am sure once he met her that roof could not hold the joy <3

As I was designated at the sibling doula I could not help but capture little bits as I could through out the labor.

The mom was supported by my beautiful sister doula Gabe from Sacredsong Birth and Wellness. The passion that this lady has for her work is remarkable.
