North Carolina breastfeeding photography supporting Alamance La Leche League

BREASTFEEDING IS MORE THAN MILK

The physical act of breastfeeding is more than the quantity of milk that is supplied, as you will find when you hold your baby in your arms. Breastfeeding is warmth, nutrition, and love all rolled into one. Understanding and appreciating the signs of knowing when your baby is getting enough to eat is the one of the most important things you can learn. If you have any concerns regarding your baby, they should be addressed with your health care provider.

Meet the lady behind the camera and double hip squeeze specializing in boutique birth photography and premier doula services

Meet the person behind the camera and double hip squeeze ðŸ’•

Sarah was called into the birth world when she was serving in the United States ARMY. After giving birth to her first, she followed and supported three of her fellow soldiers through their birthing journey. At that time she had no idea what a "Doula" was but felt this is where the Lord needed her to be. After serving her country, Sarah felt led to guide others into self advocacy and to empower women by trusting in themselves and bodies. She started on the journey of becoming not only a Doula but a professional photographer and later specializing in birth documenting. After attending DONA training and completing in 2014, Sarah was able to do hands on work with teens and young moms with the YWCA before climbing on board as a trained professional Doula.
Sarah is blessed with an amazing husband, three children and two angel babies. Sarah loves her animals and enjoys the simple things in life like spending time with her family and serving at her church. When she is not busy at a birth you can find her most days with a camera glued to her hand documenting the world around her, homeschooling her children or outside basking in the sun.
Sarah's passion, love and excitement are displayed in her work daily. She believes pregnancy and childbirth are a beautiful experience, that not only results in the birth of a precious baby, but the birth of a mother and family. Sarah's mission is to support mothers in communication with their birth team, and teaching mothers to trust their instincts, not only through their birth journey, but into parenthood as well.
